The house is located in the synthetic terrain of Mumbai suburbs. The project aspiration was to eliminate the spatial noise, while respecting the existing structural system.

The first strong impulsive for this design was to replace the non-structural walls of the passage with cabinetry, which is adaptable to the client’s requirements.

The second noteworthy decision was to increase the size of the kitchen while not compromising the functional aspects of the son’s room. And this leads to the idea of using timeless materials that brings the sense of warmth in the house.
